A talking chocolate finger, a shell headed man and John Travolta eating crisps, yes it's the weird and wonderful world of Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy.
When clicking onto E4 to check out Noel Fielding's new comedy show you may be mistaken for thinking you're watching a new series of the Mighty Boosh. With much of the same cast having been employed by Noel, as well as similarly strange characters, Luxury Comedy does feel like a spinoff of the popular show. As much as I adore Noel's crazily wacky mind, the storylines are lacking a little something that Julian Barratt obviously brought to the table.
However, Noel's artwork that makes up most of the backgrounds, brings extra colour and life to the always bizaare themes. Should Noel have left the Boosh style he's famous for in the past and tried another tact? Maybe? But I'm still laughing.
