I'm a bit worried about the root upkeep as my natural hair is very dark (when I was little I had glossy black hair, now its dark brown). So maybe a lighter brown would be better for my hair quality.
Have any of you dyed your hair dark blonde/light brown? And are you happy with it?

I have pitch black hair and my hair dresser recommended that I do not die it a light brown. She said the dye would have to be strong and there is the slight chance of my hair getting damaged. I guess it depends on what your hair is like right now :)

I currently have dark hair on top with coppery blonde dip dye. I'm going to the salon tomorrow and gonna try and get lighter brown on top and more blonde dip dye. Excited but not looking forward to price tag!

Go for a light brown!! Going lighter is always a massive shock and you can always keep going lighter after :) I think it'd look good on you!

Thanks everyone :) I think when I've saved a bit over the summer I'm gonna go for a lighter brown, but get it done at a good salon to save my hair quality!

I have dark brown hair, so I wouldn't die my hair those colours as I know I'd end up looking ginger haha! I do love light brown, and copper hair on other people though xx
